Fountains and Aerators are used to keep a consistent level of oxygen throughout your lake or pond. These products significantly increase oxygen levels allowing beneficial bacteria to function. The purpose of the beneficial bacteria is to consume excess nutrients which cause algae.

Fountains and Aerators also destratify your waterway by turning over the entire water column and cooling your water. A stagnant body of water is hot on the surface and forms layers with the coolest temperatures on the bottom. During the hot summer months, algae quickly grow in stratified bodies of water.
